1000 Indian MBBS students evacuated from war-torn Ukraine to resume studies in Uzbekistan

Following their evacuation from conflict-ridden Ukraine last year, over 1,000 Indian medical students have recommenced their academic pursuits at a medical institution in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan's Samarkand State Medical University graciously provided accommodation for these students. The Indian Embassy in Ukraine proactively coordinated with the university to facilitate the smooth transition of these students, offering them the opportunity to continue their education after the upheaval caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
