2 Boys Duped Flipkart Of Rs 1.05 Crore & 152 Phones! Their Modus Operandi Is Shocking!

On Tuesday, Rajasthan police arrested two youngsters on the charges of cheating the e-commerce company Flipkart of 152 costly cell phones and a whopping amount of Rs. 1.05 crore by making false claims that empty boxes were delivered to them.
After arresting Dharamraj Meena (20), an engineer from Jaipur, and Rahul Meena (20), a B.Tech student from Gwalior, the Rajasthan police is claiming that it has busted a gang of online cheaters which operates in various states. Both Rahul and Dharamraj belong to Beech Gawndi village, MP.
The complaint was filed by Flipkart about the fraud after which police started the probe and arrested the two; both of them have been sent to six-day police remand by the court.
Superintendent of Police, Sawai Singh Godara, said,
“The zonal manager of Flipkart, Manoj Chudhary had on September 24 complained that some persons had duped the company of Rs 50 lakhs and 55 lakhs and 152 expensive phones.”

As per Flipkart, costly mobiles were being ordered by Rahul and Dharamraj in different names, IDs and addresses and later on, the duo used to get refund from the e-commerce giant by making false claims that empty boxes were delivered to them.

The SP further said, “They were involved in duping the company for last one-and-a-half-year. The doubt arose when the company officials noticed that two bank account numbers sent for refund were same.” He also added that both of them were living a luxurious life and had costly vehicles as well.
SHO of Anantpura police station, Anil Joshi, told that five other persons have also been arrested by the police who were involved in the purchase and resale of cells from these two and some more arrests may take place soon. He also said that all the seven accused are undergoing interrogation.
