Golmaal Again BO report: film rakes in Rs. 60.14 crore in 2 Days

In spite of the mixed appraisals from all sides, viewers are flocking to movie halls to enjoy the multi starrer flick. The demand of masala plus humor-filled movies among the masses and its great star cast appear to have acted upon in the film’s favor.
The movie is directed by well known film maker Rohit Shetty and features Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade, Parineeti Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Tabu, Prakash Raj, Sirshak Shrestha and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

In addition, the film does have a frightening rivalry in the form of Mr. perfectionist’s Secret Superstar and super star Vijay’s Mersal but it will showcase positive figures in the coming days.
Golmaal Again is the 4th sequel of the Golmaal franchise. It started with 2006 movie Golmaal: Fun Unlimited. This forth part also marks the tenth alliance between the super star Ajay Devgn and ace director Rohit Shetty.
Film distributor Akshaye Rathi had beforehand stated, “I can easily predict the film to do around Rs 22 crores to Rs 25 crores on day one and by the weekend, the numbers would go up to Rs 75 crores easily.”
Indian Express movie reviewer Shubhra Gupta had given an average review, “For someone like me, no fan of the franchise, there’s usually very little to like in the ‘Golmaal’ films. And this time around too, I had resigned myself to a couple of hours of deja-view. But I have to say that the addition of a few new faces, and moving the location from the beaches of Goa to the green slopes of Ooty, helped freshen things up. And though there were the familiar risible lines about people who can’t speak, and a creepy running thread about older men and girls young enough to be their daughter, the usual slew of jokes were not as tasteless. A couple led to actual laughter.”
The cast and crew of the film beforehand shared that they were having as much fun endorsing and discussing the film as they had while filming it.
