Panhaledurg fort

Shivaji Maharaj made Raigad as the capital of Maratha kingdom, and built a chain of forts to strengthen it. This included Mangad, Panhaledurga, Songad, Chambhargad and Lingana were amongst them. Panhaledurga is quite small, and was mainly used to keep watch on enemies reaching Raigad. The bastions and entrance are destroyed, with some remnants of ramparts.
